In August, 2000, representatives of six leading secondary aluminium manufacturers gathered in Moscow to discuss the situation in the secondary aluminium market. The aim of the meeting was to discuss raised activities of unfair aluminium production exporters and to work out joint actions to get over them. A decision to join two leading secondary aluminium producers into a non-commercial partnership was made.
